I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mossfield Primary School in Salford for a Better Places school visit.
There’s always something special about visiting schools close to home; partly because I have more confidence the children understand what I’m saying than I do in other parts of the country.
We had a brilliant morning with a mix of storytelling, a bit of movement (including a few rounds of limbo under the white cane), and a really engaging Q&A. The pupils asked great questions about books, blindness, and how we can make our streets and spaces work better for everyone.
A big thank you again to all the pupils and staff at Mossfield Primary School for the energy, curiosity and laughs. It was a real joy to share Nicky and Candy’s Street with you.
